Community Groups & Activities
Northway Together
Northway Together is a local initiative bringing residents together to design, develop and deliver programmes that support all of us to thrive.
The group meets most Thursday mornings in Northway Church Hall to pack and distribute mutual aid parcels to local residents in need. New volunteers and recipients are always welcome!
In collaboration with Marston Community Gardening, Northway Together runs a Community Gardening and Art Cafe every 1st Sunday of the month from 2pm to 5pm at Northway Community Centre. Everyone is welcome to join in!
Table tennis & more with Ken
Every Saturday from 11am to 1pm at Northway Community Centre (Dora Carr Close, OX3 9RU)
Ken’s table tennis sessions are wonderful opportunities for residents (18+) to (re)kindle social connections and have fun together. Tea, coffee, biscuits and IT advice are always on tap!
Friends of Milham Ford Nature Park
FoMFNP are always delighted to welcome new volunteers to help maintain Milham Ford Nature Park (Marston Road, OX3 0DJ).
You can come along to events for an hour or so, when convenient for you, choosing tasks that suit you best, from litter-picking and seed harvesting to more strenuous ones, such as digging out unwanted vegetation.
Find out more on the FoMFNP website!
